Awesome! We can play online sometime

. Okay, I recommend:
Grand Theft Auto 4
Call of Duty 4
Resistance Fall of Man
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Grid
Motorstorm
I could list a few more, that those would be the top priorities. You can also download the demo for most of those off the playstation network to try them out first. GTA4 is my favorite PS3 game, followed by Resistance.

Yeah I will be getting
Resistance
COD4 (even though I have it on PC and kick major ass on it)
Uncharted
I don't like racing games, owning a fast car means if I want to race I just drive to my local race track ( I have a majorly good one close to me) and race for real.

I was pretty impressed with the begging up untill the plane crash you really felt like you were in a movie. Im stuck in the fortress basement flooded area at the moment, keep running out of ammo or dont get out the way of bullets in time.

Staying behind cover and headshots to conserve ammo are key to getting past a lot of places. Make sure to use up ammo for the weapons that are full first, since you might find ammo for a gun that is full and run past it to a new area. There's definately a few frustrating areas, but with enough practice and patience you can get past them

.
Folklore also was a great PS3 RPG if you like them.

Yup internet cop-op !!! You can blast zombies from all over the world with friends. Im just waiting till it finally goes sort of mmorpg style and theres a huge city filled with zombies and so many people (gamers) per city. That would make it uber cool !!!!!

a zombie 3rd/1st person mmorpg shooter would be awesome. So far the only zombie mmos Ive seen are like point and click to fire there not much skill was needed.

I don't think they are far off what you need to do it ! The consoles have definatly got the power it's just finding some programmers with the knowledge and a decent enough base to do it from.
Yeah I cant play it too much as my going through the game in co-op mode with my bro and as he doesn't live close he can only pop over once a week !

Well at least you got a gamer in the family. I only have my sister who is horrible at any game.
I also just remembered left 4 dead but ive heard a bunch of mixed reviews, but thats not much of an mmo just a coop.

what advantages you guys think ps3 got over 360?
i heard ps3 internet is free, and x box live costs a monthly fee?
is the ps3 version any good though?
Robert

The PlayStation network is free and is pretty good. My only complaint is that voice chat is not supported in every game, but it rarely has any downtime and the download speeds are really good. And yeah, xbox live has a subscription model.

Personally I think PS3 just feels ( and I mean physically an environmentally) more polished and more adult. I haven't played much online but I will be doing as its free unlike the 360.
Even though the PS3 console costs more if you take the cost of a 360 and add on the costs you would pay for say 3 years worth of online gaming on the 360 the price is about the same as the PS3. So it all works out, I like the sony brand over microsoft I think its all down to personal choice. But if you get a PS3 you can play online with your KQ friends

Coming from personal experience, I did own a 360 first and had no intention of buying a PS3, I can say I agree with kaeolian. The PS3 hardware is so much better than the 360's, quality wise. When my AC brick died on the 360 and then the 360 had a red ring of death, I decided enough was enough and got a PS3, I was amazed at the difference in feel of quality. The 360 I had, felt like a piece of crap, the build quality was poor, it was loud and it was so damn hot. The PS3 is extremely quiet and doesn't feel like it will ever break down. I guess it's hard to explain, but the 360 just has a cheap, inferior feel to it.
That being said, if the 360 was the same build quality wise, I would have probably never bought a PS3...well I probably would have eventually for some of the cool exclusive titles. And yes, you save a lot on the online bill.
