So i found out a few days ago that the death note live action movie that was originally only in japan is coming to the us for 2 days only. the 20-21 of may. I was wondering if anyone has seen it or heard any good things about it. i have watched a few scenes from it. and it looked like it was filmed by a kid but it does have really good CGI for the shinigami. The closest theater that has it is 40 miles away in a different city. I want to know if it is worth going to see, because it will be hard to convince my parents to take me there, and i dont want to go through the trouble if it is a horrible movie. i would just watch it online but i cant find it anywhere with english subtitles.

There's 2 movies I believe and they are pretty good from what I've heard (they're on DVD). Unless this is a new movie... I haven't actually seen any of them.

it was an awesome movie.only bad things were, the voice over they put in was bad at some points, and the heart attacks were overly dramatic

haha i thought the heart attacks were overdone too
i watched with subtitles so i dunno abt the dubbing

also when the bus hijacker got hit by the car he flew like 50 feet
